Do I have to worry about spam?

At Helloyou.ws we take spam seriously.

If any misuse of our services is reported, we may suspend or terminate accounts without warning. Please be careful not to indulge in any of the following activities:

  • Transmission of nuisance mail, including unrequested, commercial advertisement or general non-personal announcements.

  • Use of an outside distribution station (relay), in particular an outside mail server, for the dissemination of electronic mail messages without the prior explicit authorisation by the owner.

  • Transmission of the same unrequested message to one or to several electronic distribution lists, known as "spamming".

  • Transmission or the publication of an identical or of a similar message in several electronic discussion forums (news groups), such as, e.g., the excessive cross or multiple publication (also known as "Usenet spamming", "Excessive Multi-Posting" EMP, "Excessive Cross-Posting" ECP), irrespective of whether the content is commercial or non-commercial.

  • Falsification of information of the sender or of any other information in the message header.

We protect our customers from receiving spam as good as possible. For example our Managed Mail services block IP's of known spammers and corresponding mail is returned to the sender. Here is an exmple:

Finally, you can set up filters with your e-mail software to block unwanted addresses and use bulk mail handling features to trash unsolicited commercial e-mail.
